Ingredients

  • 1 lb lamb shoulder, cut into 1.5-inch cubes
  • ½ cup plain yogurt
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • 1 whole lemon, halved
  • 1 whole red onion, cut into 1-inch chunks

Instructions

    Combine yogurt, garlic, cumin, paprika, and juice of half the lemon in a bowl.

    Add lamb cubes, coat thoroughly, and marinate 10 minutes while you heat the grill.

    Thread lamb and onion chunks onto skewers, alternating meat and onion.

    Grill skewers over medium-high heat, turning every 90 seconds, until charred outside and just cooked through, about 8 minutes total.

    Squeeze remaining lemon half over the skewers and serve immediately.
