Ingredients

  • 4 ears corn on the cob
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 tablespoons fresh corn silk
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • ½ lime fresh lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, chopped

Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F). Remove corn husks and silk. Pat corn dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

Mix softened butter with salt, pepper, cilantro, and lime juice in a small bowl. Set aside.

  3. 3

Lightly oil the grill grates. Place corn directly on the grill perpendicular to the grates.

  4. 4

Grill for 12-15 minutes, turning every 3-4 minutes to char evenly on all sides. Corn is done when kernels are tender and have light char marks.

  5. 5

Transfer grilled corn to a serving platter. Immediately brush all sides generously with herb butter while still hot.

  6. 6

Serve immediately with extra herb butter on the side.
