Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh kale, stems removed
  • 1 cup fresh spinach
  • 1 medium frozen banana
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • ½ tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • ½ tbsp raw honey

    Add the fresh kale and spinach to a high-powered blender first. Pour in the unsweetened almond milk over the greens to help them blend more easily.

    Add the frozen banana, frozen pineapple chunks, Greek yogurt, lemon juice, and honey to the blender. The frozen fruit will create a thick, creamy texture.

    Blend on high speed for 45–60 seconds, until the mixture is completely smooth and no leafy pieces remain visible. You should hear the blender's sound change from rough to smooth.

    Pour the smoothie into glasses and serve immediately for the best texture and nutrient retention. If the smoothie is too thick, add 2–3 tablespoons more almond milk and blend briefly.
