Ingredients

  • ¾ lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1.5 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 pinch salt and pepper
  • ½ cup tzatziki sauce
  • 4 piece pita bread
  • 1 cup tomato and red onion, sliced

Instructions

    Slice chicken breasts in half horizontally to create thin cutlets, about 1/2-inch thick.

    Mix oregano, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Season both sides of chicken evenly.

    Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high until it shimmers, about 90 seconds.

    Pan-fry chicken 3–4 minutes per side without moving until golden brown and cooked through.

    Warm pita bread directly over a gas flame or in a dry skillet for 15 seconds per side.

    Slice cooked chicken into 1/2-inch strips.

    Spread tzatziki inside each pita, add chicken, tomato, and onion, then serve immediately.
