Ingredients

  • ¾ lb pork shoulder or pork belly
  • 3 tbsp fish sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 2 whole Vietnamese baguette
  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 cup pickled daikon and carrots
  • ½ cucumber fresh cucumber, sliced
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro
  • 1 whole fresh jalapeño, sliced
  • 3 oz pâté

Instructions

    Combine fish sauce, minced garlic, brown sugar, and lime juice in a bowl to create the marinade.

    Cut pork into thin slices or bite-sized pieces and marinate for at least 15 minutes.

    Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat and cook the marinated pork until caramelized and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes.
