Ingredients
- 1 cup whole milk (or milk of choice)
- ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
- ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ⅛ teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
- 1 pinch black pepper, freshly ground

Pour 1 cup of milk into a small saucepan or microwave-safe mug.

If using stovetop: place saucepan over medium heat and warm until steam rises from the surface and you see small bubbles forming around the edge, about 3 minutes. If using microwave: heat uncovered for 60 to 90 seconds until hot but not boiling.

Add 0.5 teaspoon turmeric, 0.25 teaspoon cinnamon, 0.125 teaspoon ginger, and 1 pinch of black pepper to the hot milk.

Whisk or stir vigorously for 30 seconds until the spices are fully dissolved and the milk turns golden yellow with no visible powder settling at the bottom.
