Ingredients

  • 2 lb chicken wings
  • 3 tbsp gochujang (Korean red chili paste)
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. 1

Pat chicken wings dry with paper towels. Season generously with salt and black pepper.

  2. 2

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high until shimmering, about 90 seconds.

  3. 3

Working in batches if needed, lay wings in the pan without moving for 4 minutes until golden and crispy.

  4. 4

Flip wings and cook 3 more minutes until the second side is golden and skin crackles when you move the pan.

  5. 5

Whisk gochujang, honey, soy sauce, and garlic in a small bowl until smooth. Pour into the skillet and toss wings to coat.

  6. 6

Toss continuously over heat for 2–3 minutes until the glaze thickens and coats each wing. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve hot.
