Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • ½ tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 6 cloves garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
  • 1 medium red bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup snap peas
  • 2 stalks green onions, sliced
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. 1

In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, cornstarch, and water. Set the sauce aside.

  2. 2

Pat shrimp dry with paper towels. Mince garlic and ginger, and slice bell pepper and green onions.

  3. 3

Heat vegetable oil in a 12-inch wok or large skillet over high heat until shimmering.

  4. 4

Add shrimp and cook for 1-2 minutes per side until just pink. Transfer to a plate.

  5. 5

Add garlic and ginger to the wok, stirring constantly for 30 seconds until fragrant.

  6. 6

Add bell pepper, broccoli, and snap peas. Stir fry for 3-4 minutes until vegetables are crisp-tender.

  7. 7

Return shrimp to the wok and pour in the sauce. Toss everything together and cook for 1-2 minutes until sauce thickens.

  8. 8

Stir in red pepper flakes and garnish with green onions. Serve immediately over steamed rice.
