Ingredients
- 8 oz spaghetti
- 4 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ tsp red pepper flakes
- 3 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 to taste salt and black pepper to taste

Bring a pot of salted water to boil. Add spaghetti and cook until al dente, ~9 minutes.

Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, then drain spaghetti and set aside.

Melt butter in the same pot over medium heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes.

Cook garlic for 60 seconds until fragrant but not browned.

Return spaghetti to the pot. Add 1/4 cup pasta water and toss until glossy, ~2 minutes.

Stir in parsley. Season with salt and pepper. Add more pasta water if needed.
