Five-Ingredient Garlic Butter Pasta

Ingredients

  • 8 oz spaghetti
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 whole lemon, juiced
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese, finely grated

Instructions

    Boil spaghetti in salted water until al dente, ~9 minutes. Reserve 1 cup pasta water.

    Heat butter in a large skillet over medium until foaming, ~90 seconds.

    Add minced garlic and cook, stirring, until fragrant, ~45 seconds. Do not brown.

    Drain pasta and add to skillet with garlic butter and lemon juice. Toss gently.

    Add Parmesan and toss, stirring in 2 tbsp pasta water to create a silky sauce.

    Serve immediately with fresh pepper and extra Parmesan.
