Ingredients
- 1.5 cups hummus
- 2 pockets pita bread
- 1 can (15 oz) canned chickpeas, drained
- ⅓ cup olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic cloves, minced
- 1 pinch salt and black pepper

Cut pita into triangles. Arrange on a sheet pan and toast in a 400°F oven until golden and crispy, 6–8 minutes.

Spread hummus in a shallow bowl, creating a slight well in the center with the back of a spoon.

Heat olive oil in a small pan over medium. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant and golden, ~1 minute. Do not brown.

Add drained chickpeas to the oil and toss for 2 minutes until warmed through and lightly golden.

Pour the warm garlic oil and chickpeas over the hummus. Top with crispy pita chips and serve immediately.
