Ingredients
- 4 slice Bread slices (white or whole wheat)
- 2 tablespoon Butter, softened
- 4 whole Eggs
- ½ cup Shredded cheddar cheese
- ¼ teaspoon Salt
- ¼ teaspoon Black pepper
- 1 tablespoon Fresh chives, chopped

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a muffin tin with butter.

Flatten bread slices with a rolling pin. Brush both sides lightly with softened butter.

Press each bread slice into a muffin cup, forming a basket shape with edges slightly above the rim.

Crack one egg into each bread basket. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and cheese.
