Ingredients
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup whole milk
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- 4 slices (1-inch thick) brioche or challah, sliced
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp cinnamon sugar or maple syrup, for serving

Whisk eggs, milk, and vanilla in a shallow bowl until combined.

Working with 2 slices at a time, dip bread into custard for 2 seconds per side — don't oversoak.
