Ingredients

  • 1 cup potato, boiled and mashed
  • 12 count wonton wrappers
  • ½ cup tamarind chutney
  • 4 count green chilies, whole
  • ½ tsp cumin seeds
  • 2 cups neutral cooking oil, for frying

Instructions

    Mix mashed potato with cumin seeds, salt, and black pepper until fragrant.

    Spoon 1 tbsp potato filling onto each wonton wrapper corner, fold into triangle, and press edges to seal.

    Heat oil in a heavy skillet to 350°F (water drop should sizzle immediately and sink slowly).

    Fry samosas in batches, 2–3 minutes per side, until deep golden brown. Remove with a slotted spoon.

    Fry whole green chilies 30–45 seconds until blistered and fragrant.

    Arrange samosas on a plate. Drizzle with tamarind chutney and serve with fried green chilies alongside.
