Ingredients
- ½ lb ground beef
- ½ medium yellow onion, finely diced
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
- 16 count wonton wrappers
- 1.5 tsp Ethiopian spice blend (or garam masala)
- 3 tbsp neutral oil for frying

Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high until shimmering. Add onion and ginger; cook until fragrant, about 90 seconds.

Add ground beef and break it up with a spoon. Cook until no pink remains, stirring often, about 5 minutes.

Stir in spice blend and a pinch of salt. Cook for 30 seconds until fragrant, then transfer to a bowl to cool slightly.
