Ingredients

  • 2 pieces (6-inch) pita bread
  • 4 cups (chopped) romaine lettuce
  • 2 medium (diced) tomatoes
  • 1 medium (diced) cucumber
  • 4 small (thinly sliced) radishes
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp sumac

Instructions

    Tear pita into bite-sized pieces. Spread on a baking sheet and toast under a broiler or in a 400°F oven for 2 minutes per side until golden and crispy.

    While pita toasts, chop romaine, tomatoes, cucumber, and radishes into a large bowl.

    Whisk lemon juice with 3 tablespoons olive oil, 1 tablespoon sumac, and a pinch of salt and pepper.

    Toss the greens and vegetables with the dressing until everything is coated.

    Add warm pita chips and toss gently to combine. Serve immediately while pita is still crispy.
