Ingredients

  • 12 oz fresh egg noodles (or ramen noodles, cooked + drained)
  • 3 cups cabbage, chopped into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 medium carrot, julienned
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 pieces scallion, sliced thin (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. 1

Heat 2 tbsp oil in a large skillet over high heat until it shimmers, about 90 seconds.

  2. 2

Add garlic and cook 30 seconds until fragrant, stirring constantly so it doesn't burn.

  3. 3

Add cooked noodles and spread flat. Let them sit undisturbed for 2 minutes to crisp up on the bottom.

  4. 4

Toss noodles with a spatula, breaking up clumps. Add cabbage and carrot; stir-fry 3 minutes until vegetables soften.

  5. 5

Drizzle soy sauce and sesame oil over everything. Toss for 1 minute until evenly coated and fragrant.

  6. 6

Slide onto a plate and top with sliced scallion. Serve hot.

Tools you’ll need
