Ingredients
- ½ lb ground pork
- 24 count wonton wrappers
- 1 cup cabbage, finely chopped
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp honey
Instructions
- 1
Cook ground pork in a skillet over medium-high heat, breaking up with a spoon, until no pink remains, ~5 minutes.
- 2
Add chopped cabbage and minced garlic to the pork. Cook, stirring, for 2 minutes until fragrant.
- 3
Stir in 1 tbsp soy sauce and 1 tbsp sesame oil. Remove from heat and let cool 5 minutes.
- 4
Whisk together remaining 2 tbsp soy sauce, rice vinegar, and honey in a small bowl for dipping sauce.
- 5
Place 1 tbsp filling in the center of a wonton wrapper. Wet edges with water.
- 6
Fold wrapper into a triangle, pressing edges to seal. Then bring two corners together and press to seal into a pouch.
- 7
Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling until you have 24 wontons.
- 8
Heat 2 tbsp oil in a large skillet over medium heat until it shimmers, ~1 minute.
- 9
Working in batches, pan-fry wontons 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy. Don't crowd the pan.
- 10
Transfer finished wontons to a paper towel-lined plate. Serve hot with dipping sauce.
