Ingredients

  • 8 count frozen beef meatballs
  • ¾ cup marinara sauce
  • 2 count sub rolls or hoagie rolls
  • ¾ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. 1

Heat olive oil in a 10-inch skillet over medium-high. Add meatballs and cook, shaking the pan occasionally, until browned and crispy on the outside, 4-5 minutes.

  2. 2

Stir in marinara and garlic powder. Simmer for 2 minutes until sauce coats the meatballs.

  3. 3

Split rolls open and fill each with 4 meatballs and sauce, dividing evenly.

  4. 4

Sprinkle mozzarella over the meatballs on each roll, dividing the cheese evenly between them.

  5. 5

Return the filled rolls to the skillet over medium heat. Cover and cook until cheese melts, 1-2 minutes.

  6. 6

Transfer to a plate and serve hot.
