Ingredients

  • ¾ lb marlin fillets, skinless
  • 6 count corn tortillas
  • 2 tbsp chipotle peppers in adobo
  • 1 count lime (juiced)
  • ¼ cup crema or sour cream
  • 2 cups cabbage, thinly sliced

Instructions

    Blend chipotle peppers with crema and half the lime juice until smooth.

    Pat marlin dry. Season with salt and black pepper on both sides.

    Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high until it shimmers, about 90 seconds.

    Sear marlin 2 minutes per side without moving—edges should look opaque and crust should crisp.

    Warm tortillas in the dry skillet or directly over flame, 15 seconds per side.

    Flake marlin into tortillas. Top with cabbage, chipotle crema, and remaining lime juice. Serve immediately.
