Ingredients
- ¾ lb ground beef (80/20)
- ¼ cup glutinous rice flour
- 3 tbsp gochujang (Korean red chili paste)
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp granulated sugar
- 2 stalks green onion, chopped (plus sesame seeds for garnish)

Mix gochujang, soy sauce, sesame oil, and sugar in a small bowl until smooth.

Combine ground beef and rice flour in a large bowl, stirring gently until just incorporated.

Divide beef mixture into 4 equal portions and form into thick patties about 3 inches wide.

Heat oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high until it shimmers, about 90 seconds.

Sear patties 3 minutes per side without moving until edges brown and surface caramelizes.
