Ingredients
- 2 pieces frozen frikandel sausages
- 200 g frozen french fries
- 1 medium zucchini, halved lengthwise
- 1.5 liters neutral oil for frying
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 3 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp hot sauce or sriracha

Heat oil in a large pot or deep pan to 350°F (175°C). Mix mayo, ketchup, and hot sauce in a small bowl for dipping sauce.

Pat frikandels dry with paper towels. Carefully slide them into hot oil and fry until golden brown all over, about 8 minutes.

Remove frikandels with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Keep them warm on a plate.

Add fries to the hot oil and cook until crispy and golden, about 5 minutes. Remove and drain, season with salt.

Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat. Brush zucchini halves with oil, then grill cut-side down until charred, about 4 minutes per side.

Plate the frikandels, fries, and grilled zucchini together. Serve dipping sauce on the side.
