Ingredients

  • 1 14-oz block extra-firm tofu, pressed
  • 3 tbsp chili crisp (like Lao Gan Ma)
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 stalk green onion, sliced (optional)

Instructions

    Cut pressed tofu into 3/4-inch cubes and pat dry with paper towels.

    Toss tofu in a bowl with cornstarch, 1 tbsp soy sauce, and half the minced garlic until evenly coated.

    Spread tofu on an air fryer basket in a single layer. Air fry at 400°F for 10 minutes, shaking halfway through.

    Transfer tofu to a bowl. Stir in chili crisp, remaining 1 tbsp soy sauce, and remaining garlic until coated.

    Garnish with green onion if using. Serve hot with rice, greens, or noodles.
