Ingredients

  • 6 count corn tortillas
  • 6 oz chorizo, diced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or Oaxaca cheese
  • 2 count Roma tomatoes, diced
  • ½ count white onion, thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 count lime (juiced)
  • ½ cup crema or Mexican sour cream

Instructions

    Arrange tortillas on a sheet pan in a single layer. Brush both sides lightly with oil.

    Scatter diced chorizo evenly over tortillas, then top with cheese. Bake at 400°F for 8 minutes until cheese melts and tortillas crisp.

    Toss diced tomatoes and sliced onion with lime juice and a pinch of salt in a small bowl.

    Remove tostadas from oven. Top each with the tomato-onion mixture, a drizzle of crema, and cilantro.

    Serve immediately while cheese is still melted and edges are warm.
