Ingredients
- 200 g Gruyère or Emmental cheese, cubed
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 2 whole eggs
- 1 cup mashed potatoes (instant or leftover)

Instructions
- 1
Set up three shallow bowls: flour in the first, beaten eggs in the second, mashed potatoes in the third.

Toss cheese cubes in flour to coat lightly, shaking off excess.
- 3
Dip each floured cube into egg, then press firmly into mashed potatoes until fully coated.
- 4
