Ingredients

  • 8 slices turkey bacon slices
  • 4 slices bread (white, wheat, or sourdough)
  • 1 whole ripe avocado
  • 1 medium tomato
  • 4 leaves lettuce (romaine or butter lettuce)
  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise

Instructions

    Cook turkey bacon in a large skillet over medium-high until crispy, 6-8 minutes, flipping halfway.

    Transfer bacon to a paper towel and let cool for 1 minute. Toast bread in the same skillet until golden.

    Slice the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop flesh onto a cutting board. Slice into thin wedges.

    Slice the tomato into 4 rounds. Spread 1.5 tbsp mayo on each bread slice.

    Layer each slice: lettuce, 4 bacon slices, tomato slice, avocado wedges. Top with the other bread slice.
