Crispy Beef Tostadas

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 8 count corn tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or cotija cheese
  • ½ cup jalapeños, sliced
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 count lime
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro, chopped

Instructions

    Heat 2 tbsp oil in a large skillet over medium-high until it shimmers, about 90 seconds.

    Fry tortillas one at a time until golden and crispy, 30 seconds per side. Transfer to a paper towel.

    Add ground beef to the same skillet, breaking it up with a spoon, until no pink remains, about 5 minutes.

    Season with salt and pepper to taste, then remove from heat.

    Top each crispy tortilla with beef, cheese, jalapeños, a dollop of sour cream, and cilantro.

    Squeeze lime over each tostada and serve immediately.
