Ingredients

  • ¾ lb ground beef
  • 2 tbsp taco seasoning
  • 2 cups tortilla chips or fried tortilla shells
  • 4 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
  • ¾ cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 whole lime (juiced)

Instructions

    Heat a skillet over medium-high. Add ground beef and break up with a spoon.

    Cook, stirring occasionally, until beef is browned and no pink remains, ~6 minutes.

    Add taco seasoning and 2 tbsp water. Stir until the beef is evenly coated.

    In a small bowl, whisk sour cream with lime juice and a pinch of salt.

    Layer lettuce and tortilla chips in a bowl. Top with cooked beef.

    Drizzle with lime crema and scatter cheese over top. Serve immediately.
