Ingredients
- 10 oz beef sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced
- 2 whole fresh Thai chilies (or jalapeños), thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp fish sauce
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- ½ cup fresh basil leaves (Thai basil preferred, or regular)

Heat 1 tbsp oil in a large skillet over medium-high until smoking, about 1 minute.

Add beef in a single layer. Let it sit without stirring for 2 minutes until edges brown.

Stir and cook 1 minute more until no pink remains. Transfer to a plate.

In the same skillet, add chilies and cook 30 seconds until fragrant.

Pour in soy sauce, fish sauce, and lime juice. Return beef to pan and toss to coat.
