Ingredients

  • ¾ cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 tbsp hot sauce (Frank's or similar)
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 8 pieces chicken legs (thighs + drumsticks)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 to taste salt and black pepper

Instructions

    Heat oven to 425°F. Pat chicken legs dry with paper towels, then toss with oil, salt, and pepper on a sheet pan.

    Roast uncovered for 15 minutes until skin starts to crisp and bottom edges brown.

    While chicken cooks, whisk BBQ sauce, hot sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and honey in a bowl until smooth.

    Remove sheet pan from oven. Brush chicken generously on all sides with glaze, coating heavily.

    Return to oven for 8–10 minutes until glaze caramelizes and edges look dark golden and sticky.
