Ingredients

  • 2 medium Granny Smith apples
  • 1 package (14 oz) phyllo dough
  • 4 tbsp butter, melted
  • 3 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

    Preheat oven to 400°F. Peel, core, and dice apples into 1/4-inch pieces.

    Toss apples with cinnamon, sugar, and lemon juice in a bowl until well coated.

    Lay out one phyllo sheet. Brush lightly with melted butter, then fold in half.

    Place 2 tbsp apple mixture in one corner, then fold phyllo into a triangle over the filling.

    Transfer to a baking sheet. Repeat with remaining phyllo and apples to make 8 pies.
