Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 oz) canned chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

    Pat the drained chickpeas completely dry with a clean kitchen towel, pressing gently so they are no longer wet—this helps them crisp up instead of steam.

    Place the dried chickpeas in a bowl and drizzle with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, stirring until every chickpea is coated with a thin layer of oil.

    Add 0.25 teaspoon salt, 0.5 teaspoon paprika, and 0.25 teaspoon garlic powder to the bowl and stir for 30 seconds until the seasonings are evenly distributed.

    Pour the seasoned chickpeas into the air fryer basket in a single layer, spacing them so they are not piled on top of each other.

    Set the air fryer to 380°F and cook for 10–12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through (at 6 minutes) so they brown evenly on all sides.

    Remove the basket from the air fryer and pour the chickpeas onto a plate or into a serving bowl—they will continue to crisp as they cool for 2–3 minutes.
