Ingredients
- 3 tbsp butter
- 2 cups frozen diced potatoes
- 1.25 lbs cod fillets, skin removed, cut into 1-inch chunks
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups chicken or seafood broth
- 1 whole bay leaf

Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat until foaming, about 90 seconds.

Add frozen potatoes and stir for 2 minutes until they start to soften.

Pour in broth, add bay leaf, and bring to a simmer over medium-high heat, 3 minutes.

Slide cod pieces into the pot and stir gently. Simmer 4 minutes until cod is opaque and flakes easily.
