Ingredients

  • 8 whole jalapeños
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 pinch salt and pepper

Instructions

    Place broiler rack 4 inches from heat and preheat broiler for 2 minutes.

    Halve jalapeños lengthwise and scrape out seeds with a small spoon.

    Mix cream cheese, cheddar, salt, and pepper in a small bowl until combined.

    Spoon filling into each jalapeño half, pressing gently so it mounds slightly.

    Arrange filled halves on a baking sheet, cheese-side up, in a single layer.
