Ingredients
- 4 slices rye bread
- ½ lb corned beef, sliced
- 4 slices Swiss cheese
- ¾ cup sauerkraut, drained
- ¼ cup Russian dressing
- 2 tbsp butter, softened

Spread butter on both sides of each bread slice, dividing evenly.

Spread Russian dressing on two bread slices, about 2 tbsp each.

Layer corned beef, Swiss cheese, and sauerkraut on each dressed slice.

Top each sandwich with remaining bread slice, dressing side down.

Heat a skillet over medium-high until a drop of water sizzles, ~90 seconds.

Place sandwiches in skillet. Cook 3–4 minutes until bread is golden brown.
