Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 6 tbsp butter, cold and cubed
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2.5 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ¾ cup buttermilk

Heat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.

Add cold butter cubes. Cut in with a pastry cutter or fork until mixture resembles coarse breadcrumbs.

Pour buttermilk into the center. Stir with a fork until just combined; dough will be slightly shaggy.
