Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 6 tbsp cold butter, cubed
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2.5 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ¾ cup whole milk

Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Whisk flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt in a large bowl.

Add cold butter cubes and rub between fingertips until mixture resembles coarse breadcrumbs, ~2 minutes.

Pour in milk and stir with a fork until shaggy dough just comes together. Do not overmix.

Turn dough onto a lightly floured surface and gently press into a 3/4-inch-thick disk.

Cut into 8 wedges with a sharp knife. Place on baking sheet 2 inches apart.
