Ingredients

  • 6 strips bacon strips
  • 4 whole large eggs
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ⅛ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

    Heat a 12-inch skillet over medium heat. Arrange bacon strips in a single layer and cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until crispy.

    Transfer cooked bacon to a paper towel–lined plate. Pour off all but 1 tablespoon of bacon fat from the skillet.

    Crack eggs directly into the skillet, spacing them apart. Cook over medium heat for 3–4 minutes for sunny-side up, or longer if you prefer firmer yolks.

    Season eggs with salt and pepper. Plate immediately and serve with bacon alongside.
