  • ¼ cup granulated sugar mixed with 1.5 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 cups neutral oil for frying
  • 4 oz dark chocolate, chopped
  • ⅓ cup whole milk

    Heat oil in a heavy skillet over medium-high until a drop of batter sizzles immediately upon contact.

    Fit a piping bag with a large star tip; fill with batter. Squeeze 2-inch strips directly into hot oil.
