  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 cups neutral oil for frying

    Stir milk into the flour mixture until a thick, sticky dough forms — do not overmix.

    Heat oil in a deep skillet or pot to 375°F. Test with a tiny dough piece — it should sizzle and float instantly.

    Drop heaping teaspoons of dough into hot oil, 4–5 at a time. Fry until golden brown on both sides, ~90 seconds total.
