Ingredients

  • 3 medium apples, firm varieties (Honeycrisp or Granny Smith)
  • ½ cup granola
  • ½ cup caramel sauce
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ cup whipped cream or Greek yogurt

Instructions

  1. 1

Heat a 12-inch skillet over medium-high. Line a plate with parchment paper.

  2. 2

Slice apples into 1/4-inch-thick rounds, removing seeds. Pat dry with paper towels.

  3. 3

Add butter to skillet. When foaming, arrange apple slices in a single layer.

  4. 4

Cook apples 2–3 minutes per side until golden and lightly caramelized. Transfer to parchment.

  5. 5

Arrange warm apples on a serving plate, overlapping slightly like nachos.

  6. 6

Drizzle caramel sauce over apples. Sprinkle granola and cinnamon evenly.

  7. 7

Top with dollops of whipped cream. Serve immediately while apples are warm.
