Ingredients

  • 24 pieces store-bought choux pastry shells (frozen)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 6 oz dark chocolate (70% cacao)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp corn syrup
  • ¼ tsp fleur de sel (or sea salt)

    Bake choux pastry shells according to package directions until golden and crispy.

    Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form, ~2 minutes.

    Chop chocolate into small pieces. Heat butter in a small saucepan over low heat.

    Add chocolate and corn syrup to the butter; stir constantly until smooth and glossy.

    Fill each cooled pastry shell with a dollop of whipped cream using a spoon.
