Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 3 tbsp chili crisp (or sambal oelek)
  • 2 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 whole lime (juiced)
  • 1 whole shallot, minced
  • 8 leaves butter lettuce or romaine leaves
  • ½ cup fresh herbs (cilantro, mint, or basil, chopped)

Instructions

    Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high until shimmering, about 90 seconds.

    Add pork and minced shallot. Cook, breaking up with a spoon, until no pink remains, ~6 minutes.

    Stir in chili crisp and fish sauce, coating the meat evenly. Cook until fragrant, 30 seconds.

    Remove from heat and squeeze lime juice over top. Taste and adjust seasoning.

    Spoon warm pork into lettuce leaves and top with fresh herbs.
