Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups rotisserie chicken, shredded
  • ½ cup short-grain white rice
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1.5 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp green onion, sliced thin

Instructions

    Bring broth to a boil in a medium pot over high heat, about 3 minutes.

    Add rice and ginger, stir once, then reduce heat to medium-low.

    Simmer uncovered for 10 minutes, stirring every couple minutes, until rice is completely soft and porridge looks creamy.
