Ingredients

  • ½ lb ground beef
  • 1 burger buns
  • 1 cheddar cheese slices
  • 2 bacon strips
  • ½ onion
  • 1 serving french fries

Instructions

  1. 1

Slice the 0.5 onion thinly. Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium and cook the onion, stirring often, until soft and golden brown, about 8 minutes. Set aside.

  2. 2

Cook the 2 bacon strips in a separate skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 5 minutes. Drain on paper towels.

  3. 3

Shape the 0.5 lb ground beef into a patty. Season with salt and pepper. Cook in the same skillet over medium-high heat until browned on both sides and cooked to your liking, about 6 minutes total for medium.

  4. 4

Place the 1 cheddar cheese slice on the patty during the last minute of cooking, covering the skillet to melt. Toast the 1 burger bun in the skillet until golden.

  5. 5

Assemble the burger: bottom bun, patty with cheese, bacon, caramelized onions, and top bun. Serve with the 1 serving french fries.
