Ingredients

  • ¾ lb marlin steaks
  • 6 piece corn tortillas
  • 2 cups green cabbage, thinly shredded
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1.5 piece lime (zested and juiced)
  • 1 piece jalapeño, thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro (optional)

Instructions

  1. 1

Stir sour cream with lime juice and zest until smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  2. 2

Toss shredded cabbage with a pinch of salt and set aside.

  3. 3

Pat marlin dry. Season both sides generously with salt and black pepper.

  4. 4

Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high until it shimmers, about 90 seconds.

  5. 5

Sear marlin 2 minutes per side without moving. Fish should be opaque and flake easily.
