Ingredients

  • 2 bags or 1 tbsp chai tea bags or loose chai tea
  • 8 oz hot water
  • 1.5 tbsp tahini
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup or agave
  • 4 oz milk (dairy or oat)
  • 1 pinch pinch of sea salt

Instructions

    Steep chai tea in 8 oz hot water for 3–4 minutes until deep amber.

    Whisk tahini and maple syrup in a mug until smooth and no lumps remain.

    Pour the strained chai into the mug and stir to combine with the tahini mixture.

    Heat milk in a small pot or steam it, then pour into the chai and stir well.

    Add a pinch of sea salt and taste; adjust sweetness if needed.

    Pour into a cup and serve immediately while hot.
