Ingredients

  • 10 cups popcorn kernels, popped
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • ¾ cup brown sugar, packed
  • 3 tbsp light corn syrup
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp salt

Instructions

    Preheat oven to 300°F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

    Pour popped popcorn into a large bowl. Set aside.

    Combine butter, brown sugar, and corn syrup in a small saucepan over medium heat.

    Stir constantly until sugar dissolves and mixture comes to a boil, about 3 minutes.

    Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla and salt until smooth.

    Drizzle caramel over popcorn in three batches, tossing gently between additions.

    Spread coated popcorn evenly on baking sheet. Bake for 10 minutes, stirring halfway.

    Spread on fresh parchment to cool completely, about 5 minutes. Serve.
