Ingredients
- ¾ lb small waxy potatoes (like red or fingerling)
- 8 oz smoked sausage, halved lengthwise then cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning (or 1 tsp paprika + 0.5 tsp cayenne + 0.5 tsp garlic powder + 0.5 tsp dried thyme + salt + black pepper)
- 1 whole lemon (halved)
Instructions
- 1
Slice potatoes into 1/4-inch rounds. You want thin so they cook fast.
- 2
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat until it foams, about 90 seconds.
- 3
Add potatoes and sausage. Stir and cook until potatoes are fork-tender, 8–10 minutes.
- 4
Push potatoes and sausage to the sides. Add shrimp and Cajun seasoning to the center of the skillet.
- 5
Toss everything together. Cook 2–3 minutes until shrimp are opaque and pink, not translucent.
- 6
Squeeze lemon over the top. Serve straight from the skillet with crusty bread.
