Ingredients

- ½ cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 3 whole eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups pecan halves
- ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tbsp dark rum or bourbon (optional)
